In the film world storytelling goes beyond entertainment and serves as a mirror for reflecting societal values,issues, and cultural dynamics. My short film aims to try and capture the complexities of disparity between class and human apathy through storytelling and character interactions as well as cinematic action. One of the central themes of my short film is the contrast between the classes. Through the use of costumes and dialogue as well as most importantly, acting and setting. My Film aims to create a critique of the disparity of wealth and the indifference of the upper class when dealing with the struggles of the lower class. The protagonist of my film is a wealthy man who lives in the nice neighborhoods of South Florida. The status is revealed through the beginning scenes with the Large modern house, expensive car which was parked in the driveway, as well as the the luxurious furniture and large rooms as displayed in the film.
