Production Blog
Hello it is Gabriel here back with another production blog. the last few blogs I talked about how I would film my video around the neighborhood and the main place I wanted to film at which was the park. Now I will be talking about the editing process which my group mate is doing. Even though he is editing I am also helping with the editing process. With the editing style I want to go with a calm video I do not want to incorporate any flashing lights or things of that nature I want to keep it simple. I will first make sure that none of my clips are corrupt so that way I would not have to re film parts of my video. So I will probably star with an intro which will be a black screen with the title of the video and all the people involved in the video will be credited at the start. After the first clip I will mainly be using jump cuts. Keep in mind I am only talking about how the first scene was edited. As I said I will make sure to remove any outside audio from the original film so that way it is only the film and not the audio you are hearing. As I learn more about editing, I discover that it's an exciting but challenging process. attention to detail is necessary to provide a smooth transition between scenes. I've learned that the editing My groupmate does the most of the editing, but I am involved to provide my creative perspective to the project and make sure the finished product stays true to the original idea. Our dynamic has been crucial in improving the video's overall quality by combining different points of view. A video with a strong narrative that appeals certain viewers on different levels. In order to create the required ambiance, choosing the appropriate music or ambient sounds is essential. I'm now experimenting with several audio alternatives to find the ideal fit. Every editing choice I make aims to create a visually compelling story that shows my original objective while captivating the viewer. To keep the video looking clean and unified, it is also essential to maintain uniformity in the color grading and visual effects. This is the beginning of my editing process thank you for reading. Onto the next blog.
