Our Product represents social groups more than issues because it is displaying the social group of fitness and wellbeing, the purpose of this video was to bring out a person who enjoys being active going to park and having fun. This is a social group that portrays getting more fit and living a more fulfilling life. The conventions it challenges is body positivity it encourages people to get outside more and to be active more. Another Convention is possibly mental health focus as it is known many people use sports and other activities as such to help with mental health issues and keep them happy even though mentally, they may not be the best they could possibly be. Another convention that it portrays is athletes from diverse backgrounds, because sports that we all enjoy and love to play is not just played by one person but played by a variety of different people from cultural backgrounds. You could be coming of an African American, or a Hispanic background, a European and many more but it is the fact that people from all different areas come enjoy a similar sport that they enjoy and get fun out of playing it.

Our Product engages with audiences by providing a experience that many people can relate to. Going to the park and having fun and playing a sport you enjoy, it is known in America that a lot of people love the sport basketball so our video product could engage with the basketball audience and give them something that they very much agree with and relate to as well as people that play other sports cause there are many sports fan who enjoy a various different types of sports and are willing to support a team so it could also engage with the basic sports audience as well. I feel like our product would be distributed as real media text through various streaming platforms such as a YouTube which is known for having various music videos on there platform as it is. I could also distribute it on Vimeo which is another video sharing platform where people share their clips and people watch it on there as well. You could also put your video on a commercial where it could be promoted to an audience where they could eventually check it out when they are done with the program that they are enjoying. Since the video has to do with basketball it could also be aired/promoted in basketball related events because that is the focus of the video, and it could probably gain traction from that audience. There are various other video streaming platforms that you could probably share your video on but if you do want to share your video portion certain platforms such as Spotify and Apple music which is a music player apps that let audiences listen to a song that they enjoy for free and that is how it is distributed around as real media text.

I feel like my production skills developed a lot throughout this project. Even though I did not use a professional camera as my recording device I still used something that still provides good quality. I used a phone and used professional quality so that way it looked like it was taken from a proper camera, sometimes when using a normal phone, the quality is not as great and makes the video look sub-par. At first, I was willing to do all the shots myself by placing my phone in an area and I would do the action right by the footage. At first it was a good idea because I needed some traveling shots but then A problem came up because there were certain shots, I needed to film but I would need another person which brought me into using a Tripod, a tripod is a necessity for taking certain shots that placing your phone down in a random area would not do. The tripod helped with many shots, and I was also able to get most of my shots using the tripod, in fact most of the video except for a couple shots is tripod made, which is why my video turned out the way it was and I am happy it did. It really leveled up from only just using my phone because I was able to record from different angels anywhere, I wanted to instead of having to find a discreet place to hold my phone. It really does help with a lot of production and filming. I eventually had someone record me for certain shots which did require another person to record because at the end of the day having someone hold the camera for you will be able to give you the best possible angles and filming perspectives you could possibly act for. At the end of the day I really do believe my production skills did improve throughout this project especially since the commercial.

I integrated different types of technology and media in this project such as using adobe software. Adobe is a top-of-the-line editing software which a lot of professionals use and have mastered their said craft on the software. And as I said I was going to use adobe this project after using a less advanced software last time I really felt the improvement. I incorporated different types of transitions and effects, cuts and intros. I made sure to also incorporate media needed for the video obviously the background audio, text, and other things of that nature. I honestly feel like I did add that much technology but at the same time I incorporated a good enough amount of it so that way it was not over-saturated and made the video look bad, however it made it look good so that way it was a calm and simple video that had all the technology it needed to make the video good. The transitions, the audio, it created a masterpiece which in my eyes looked as good as it possibly be and I do truly believe it was a good product.
