Production Blog

Hello it's me Gabriel and I am back with another production blog. This is the last production blog for my video. Today I will talk about finishing the music video. I have finished my part of editing which was the journey to the park. Now I will talk about the editing during the park segment. Since I am going for a calm flow I did a pan transition while walking so it showed me showing up at the park. Since I wanted to at least get some action at the park I used two different clips while kind of of cutting up some clips of me playing to give it that extra stuff it needed to bring out the video. After that segment of the park was done I added a cut to me walking away while I used a fade transition into a black screen that said "fin." to symbolize the end of the music video. When I finished my editing process I went to my peers to see what they thought of the video. Some suggested I turn up the volume and pointed it out some mistakes/bugs that needed to be fixed to polish the video. Since this is the last blog I will go over what I have done for this video. So first I planned out and researched the location. At first I was supposed to go to the gym but that didn't work so I was going to go to holiday park, but since that did not work I decided to go to my last plan and go to the park near me which is just as big. After I filmed I had my group partner edit my film because he was the one who was more skilled with adobe products. After we Filmed and edited we were pretty much finished and I just explained how we got a peer review. It's obvious that the flexibility in adapting to different filming locations contributed to the video's success, proving that adapting to the situation is key in creative projects. Overall, this behind-the-scenes glimpse into the video's creation showcases the importance of perseverance and adaptability in the face of unforeseen challenges, resulting in a well-crafted and engaging visual story. That is all for this music video thank you for following up on our blogs and you later see our video. Stay turned and thanks for reading.
