Movie Conventions Research: (Creed)

 Elements that this movie has that I will use in my film

• Training Montages (The film incorporates training montages. It shows the main character in several shots training as well as ambience music in the background. These sequences showcase the protagonist's dedication and hard work as he prepares for his matches.
• Action Packed Sequences ( The Film incorporates many action shots. It shows certain scenes where it is closes up shots and medium shots of where two actors are engaging in an activity. These sequences show that the movie does have scenes in the movie)

Elements of this movie that I like

•  Character Development (In the movie the main character Creed goes through alot of development throughout the movie changing physically and mentally and has a goal that he sent for himself)
• Emotional Depth(The film successfully captures the emotional aspects of the genre, exploring themes of legacy, identity, and personal growth. The emotional depth adds substance to the typical boxing narrative.)
• Mentor-Protégé Relationship ( The relation between Rocky and creed is a very good one and they bond well with each other and even develop throughout the film as Rocky watches Creed change throughout the movie.)

Elements of this movie that I dont like

• Predictability(Some aspects of the plot can be predictable for viewers familiar with the boxing genre. Certain plot developments and outcomes may follow a formulaic pattern.)
• Familiar Storyline (The film does rely on some cliché things where the main character relies on there mentor and the classic underdog rising up to the occasion when it was neccesary)
